The Tossin’ for Ta Tas Cornhole Tournament is planned for Saturday, Oct. 13, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Sons of Italy Hall on Lexington Street in Woburn. Prizes include $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place and $250 for third place. Door prizes, a 50-50 raffle, food and a DJ will be part of the event, which is being organized by Jamie Kelly and Brian Kelly. General admission the day of the event is $5 and includes a free door prize entry.
The month begins with the annual Lighting of the Common ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 30, with a gathering at the Brickyard Restaurant afterward. Michelle Amari and Suzanne Clurman are chairing the ebvent.
The Saturday, Oct. 6, toll booth collection in the city will be organized by Erin Ficociello.
